Las Vegas New Year's Eve 2024 - 2025: Fireworks & Events

New Year's Eve celebrations are a time to be in Las Vegas. In fact, each year, more than 400,000 people are expected at the New Year's celebrations on the Strip and in Downtown, which will be pedestrians for a few hours. The fireworks will be launched at midnight. Below is a list of places where you can watch the 2024/2025 New Year's Eve fireworks in Las Vegas and other New Year's Eve events in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Strip Fireworks

LAS VEGAS STRIP - FIREWORKS

The 2024/2025 Las Vegas New Year's Eve fireworks are once again scheduled to be launched from the rooftops of eight hotels. There will be choreographed music to popular hits while fireworks will be fired from the rooftops (south to north) of the following hotels:

. ARIA Resort & Casino

. Caesars Palace

. MGM Grand Hotel & Casino

. Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

. Resorts World Las Vegas

. The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod

. Treasure Island Las Vegas

. The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Strip Fireworks will last approximately 8 minutes and feature several thousand fireworks explosions, choreographed for an exhilarating musical and visual performance. The Rio Hotel will host the command center.

LAS VEGAS STRIP - ROAD CLOSURES

- The I-15 exit ramps at Flamingo will be closed at 5:30 p.m. in both directions.

- Las Vegas Boulevard will be closed from Spring Mountain Road to Tropicana Avenue, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

- The Strip will be completely closed to all vehicle traffic from 8 p.m.

Restrictions for pedestrians:

- There are several restrictions on what items you can and cannot bring to New Year's Eve celebrations. Glass, strollers, and coolers are all prohibited. The only bags allowed are those with dimensions smaller than 12x12x6 inches.

DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS - FIREWORKS

This year, the Plaza Hotel & Casino will enhance its fireworks show with a unique aerial presentation from Fantasy Drone Shows beginning with 150 drones lighting up the sky with a countdown to the midnight fireworks display. Then, fireworks will be launched from the hotel rooftops. A dazzling drone show will complement the fireworks that light up the sky

PLAZA HOTEL

​Located in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas, The Plaza Hotel & Casino offers New Year's Eve party-goers a full evening of celebrations in classic Las Vegas style, with a delicious dinner, great entertainment and complimentary champagne toasts (at Oscar's Steakhouse and on the casino floor). ) and a fantastic live fireworks display at midnight.
